All it took was one bit of an Apple

So when did it become to so cool to follow the crowd? I mean there are so many people out there that just accept information without research or questioning it. Some of my favorite books growing up were Danny Dunn and Encyclopedia Brown series. I don't know how popular they were, but I remember the one thing that I enjoyed about those books and tried to apply in my own life, was just to try to be as logical as possible in terms of information. Never limiting my thoughts or opinions to first examinations. Hence why I usually never recommend a book till I have read it, a song or album unless it has warranted multiple listens, as well as all kinds of other products. Yet it seems to be cool now days to just go off what the majority is doing. The current source of my frustration is dealing with all types of Apple users as of late. Which seem to be under the influence that Iphones, Ipads, and Macbooks are Gods gift to man.

Here's my deal, I learned computer programing and web design on Apple back in 7th grade as well as in high school. I also learned most of my musical recording skills on Macs as well, during my college years. So I have a good deal of early, as well as current familiarity with Apple products which will give me a view on the subject.  I have seen these computers crash through the years just as much as any PC. I used to be under the belief that there was a huge difference in quality. Unfortunately that theory soon proved itself untrue. In terms of ease-of-use, I will say Apple does do a good job in that area. They also have some very good video editing software that has become a sort of industry standard. Besides those few services, Apple products are overpriced, their software(Itunes,Safari, etc) is sub-par at best, and a good deal of the in-store associates as well as certified Mac "experts" don't have much more information then a common Google service will unravel.

I always will praise their marketing though, as well as customer service which is one thing they do semi-well. Besides that they that much better then any other Tech company out there. As I previously mentioned, they are just better at marketing items that were already invented. Example the Ipod. There were already MP3 music players available on the market, they just marketed theirs better and released a more simple software(for free) to manage it. Genius, terms of business as far as "breakthrough technology" don't know about that.

All Apple is most cases is just technology for people to lazy to learn how to use it beyond Facebook and sports updates. Yeah I said it, I mean it to, I hope Apple continues its success,  but I also hope all the bandwagon users out there eventually will understand their purchased products better. So I wont have to hear "they don't get viruses", "they never break down", "my mac never crashes"' and etc, etc.

Yes I obviously use a PC now. and no I'm not buying, nor do I plan on ever owning a Ipad in this lifetime. Thanks to the great deal of ignorance from their customers mostly, and due to the fact that I don't edit videos, feel the need to have 40 apps on my phone, and need to own a laptop with no keyboard.
