Snoop Dogg's Top Ten Songs(6-10)
Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 7:39PM Now without further ado I give you the first half of Snoops Top Ten Songs.
#10
Down 4 my N*ggaz ft Mystikal, C-Murda,
What high-school, college or pro team football or basketball did not come out to this classic off of Top Dawg. This is probably one of the best Beats By the Pound productions during No Limit Records period of reign of dominance on the charts. Unlike the previous album before, Snoop sounds natural over the southern style beat.

#9 Candy(Drippin Like Water) Ft E-40, MC Eight, The Doggpound, Tray Dee
The Digable Planets sample in the beginning was classic. Snoop one of west coast ambassadors of rap decided to give his co-sign to the hyphy movement with along with leader of the movement himself and another west coast legend E-40. The song goes off at the club.
#8
Bitch Please Ft Xzibit
This was the comeback record in his career. After his first No Limit album and the Jury was out for Snoop. So what do you do when your creative process has been stall? You start back at were you begun. Dr Dre came up with this heater and brought along a little known(at the time)MC by the name of Xzibit who added a mean streak to Snoops laid back style. Classic result, everyone loved Snoop again, and Dre found his direction again.
#7
Special ft Brandy and Pharrell
The one thing I feel that popular rap artist do enough of is let their music grow with their age. On the Pharrell smooth produced grown man affair, he does just that. For those of us who ever wondered how a man with such derogatory content could be married for so long. He provides a glimpse of the husband side of his life. There is nothing wrong with that either, it's not soft to make a song like this once in a while. Every man knows that you a got to cupcake every now and then.
#6
Drop It Like It's Hot ft Pharrell Williams
Classic west coast right here. I don't think there is a popular artist like so, that is so open to expanding on his sound and taking risk. The spray cans, pops, bass drum, and hint of Neptunes signiture synth was such a cold combo. Skateboard P's verse on here wasn't all to bad as either. Snoop was the star though with the hook, and his verses were classic as well.
