I read that Kid Cudi is retiring after the release of his first album to and will focus on his acting career from here on out. Good move, I had a conversation the other day with a friend asking why I am not in the game to make it? I told him I have a different view of success that does not include record sales. Art is a creation, not a profit. Imagine if Beethoven or Miles Davis would of done it for the money? This new idea that you have to be relevant in the media, or sale albums is the most dumb thing I ever heard. If that is the life some want to take, then so be it. But its alright to walk away, or etc. Cudi currently has had enough of what comes along side of being in the business besides the music. Don't kill yourself trying to please the world. Make art for arts sake. Not for profit, woman, or fame. Big ups to Kid Cudi for being honest in a fake industry. Self respect ends up meaning more in the long run anyways.
