Kid Cudi - Maniac
Monday, October 18, 2010 at 12:00PM Kid Cudi's album Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager is going to drop soon and we are excited. His latest release "maniac Feat Cage" is great as it has elements of sound Paranoia, Irritability,
Restlessness, Auditory hallucinations, and Mood disturbances. Too bad those are the signs of his coke habit. So cudi, this one is for you:

Deciphering Assassination attempt on Remedial Rap Star Lil B
Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 12:00PM Our posterboy for Remedial Rap almost got assassinated as you can see below.
Inaudible audio, lotta "brah" said (Black version of Bro?), and then flurry of punches. I'm trying to figure out what is going on in this video as the comments themselves don't help as they are filled with "brah" and N-bombs.
Some hypothesises we are working on:
-looks like a library, maybe Lil' B's vocab is so bad that they had to just punch him in the face.
-Maybe one of the tattoos on his face looked like a fly on his face and was trying to get it off of him.
-If you noticed that one white guy is rolling a blunt in the back. Maybe Lil' B is in a sweatshop for blunts and wasn't falling in line.
- Maybe Lil' B accidentally said "I be Styling on you"
- Illuminati set him up?

This week has been quite the week for music. Between the new "leaks", and full length drops its been hard to keep up. This actually kind of reminds of when MTV used to have that whole "New Music Week" back in the days, back when MTV played music actually.
So to begin the week off I'll start with one of our favorites over here at Smart & Angry, Pac Div who just dropped there new free release "Don't Mention It".
Last years "Church League Champions" one of my favorite releases hands down. This years "Don't Mention it" has already provided might be on the 2010 list. The sound and subject matter on this one seems to have taken a little darker tone as well as some of the subject matter. Seems last years we happy to be here finally celebration, has ended. Now the pressures of the music industry, growing up, and life in general has come into the trios content. None the less they're still coming with the consistency, and still a bit of occasional fun that they have come with since day one. This is definitely a must download for all fans of Hip-Hop/Rap/Good music.
Check out Track 9 "Here We Go" my jam for sure and a surprise verse from one of the greatest to ever do it...
and for those of you still sleeping heres last years gem
