Monday, September 6, 2010 at 12:00PM I have no idea? They should have the RA's(Reality Awards) instead. Not going to sit here and preach to the choir, instead I will have my own video feature.
Welcome to Music Video Minute w/ Smart and Angry
I am your host Justa and today we have some great videos for you today.
First up we have the latest video from none other then the Ambassador of the Bay himself, E-40. His latest visual offering Stay the Night off of his album Revenue Retreivein-Night Shift. I love the use of this Bjork-Oceania sample for this song, this is definitely a slapper.
Woo! that song is a certified banger! Ok, next up we have a video by NY upstart Gilbere Forte' and his freestyle over recently leaked Kanye West banger I'm So Appalled. Watching this one will make you miss the NY night life. The visuals are shot all over the city during its prime hours at night.
Gilbere Forte' - I'm So Appalled (Official Music Video) from Jerome White on Vimeo.
Our final video is a offering from Cee-Lo Green titled F*ck You. No not you, of course. The video is a Happy Day-esqe tribute to growing up chasing that girl who continues to break your heart. Reminds me of high school actually. So lets get into this last video by Cee-Lo Gree of Gnarls Barkely/Goodie Mob fame; F*ck You
That was quite a blast down memory lane. Well that's all we have for today, make sure you tune in again sometime for Music Video Minute w/ Smart and Angry.

Friday, March 12, 2010 at 3:55AM This might be post number 1,000 that you see about Lady Gaga's new video today, rightfully so. This video deserves all the acclaim in the world.. This is pop music's "Avatar", a visually brilliant treat that at the at the end of the day one can at least say "that was visual amazing". For those on the Gaga train or not(which I choose the later), this is something all can both sides can applaud. Whether the creative use of fashion (coke cans in hair, cigerette glasses) 60's/70's B movie feel , the inside jokes ("told you she did't have a dick"), and Tarentino-esqe vibe, usage of the Pussy Wagon(from Kill Bill Vol 1), dancing, poison infomercial, etc! The ideas are plenty and the 9 minute long video never cease's being entertaining and is hard not to like. If you have 10 minutes free anytime today, watch this video. You most likely will never see anything like this again this year... that is until maybe her next video.
